Diaper Cake

Diaper Cake(Winnie the Pooh) made for a co-worker for my husband who works with all men and 2 ladies. So I was asked to make this for her. As you can tell the theme is Winnie The Pooh. I love making these, they are so much fun to shop for and really easy to make. Especially since it's not for me. I cut out the babies name on the cricut and hung it down the cake. I do have better pictures, BUT my camera for some reason is only downloading half of my pictures from my camera. So I am trying to figure out what is going on. I have lost so many pictures this way. I've gotten smart, only took a while to realize it, but now I don't delete the pictures from my camera when I download my pictures. So lets see if I can figure this out.

Thanks for looking.

Halloween Treats

punch art spiders, witches hats and altered coffee cans. All made for Elem. school teachers treat table. Love making these, just time consuming. The altered coffee cans are going to be give aways. So I also included an altered envelope box with handmade cards. I have so many cards that I can never use them all. Hopefully the teachers who win will enjoy them.

Altered Frame

I love the way this came out. I had made another one
a while back at our TAC team mtg. So when our scrapbook
ladies decided to do another swap May 2009, I planned a
project for them to do. I wish I would have taken more pictures
of the way they all came out. Everyone did such a great job.
Thanks for looking.

Craft room

Pictures of my craft room. This space should be the formal dining room, we don't do formal. So as you can see I took it over.
thanks for looking.

Back to School

I just realized how long it had been since I posted on my blog. WOW! Now that the kiddos are back in school hopefully I can get back into a routine.

Right now I am working on doing a monthly scrapbook day. Where you just bring your supplies and scrapbook for the day(catch up or finish some projects). I would supply drinks, snacks and food. I haven't come up with a $ amount yet, it all depends on the location.

Spring Scrapbook Swap

Just a few pictures that I promised to share from our Spring Scrapbook Swap in May. Our Scrapbook group "Chicks That Click" decided to have an extra double page scrapbook swap.
We had 20 ladies decide to do the swap. I had around 10 to 12 ladies make the trip to Marble Falls and hang out to swap, eat, drink and many laughs. We had a great time and I just love when they come visit.

Card Camp

Several friends wanted me to come up with some sample cards that they could make. This is what I came up with. Everyone made 2 cards each.

Missing one picture of another card. For some reason when I upload my pictures to Kodak Easy share it doesn't upload all the pictures on the camera. It deletes pictures that a simular, so If I take several pictures of something it won't upload all of them, it only picks one. Not sure how to fix that. I guess I will be spending time looking for a solution.

Daiper Cake

I made a diaper cake for a co-worker of my Husband and don't you know I forgot to take any pictures. Sounds like me. As you can see from my previous post. I have been making diaper cakes for as long as I can remember. I just love making them, and what a cute centerpiece for the baby shower. My husband said everyone loved it.

CD photo cube

So sorry it took so long to post the pictures of the photo cube.
Here's my sample. I inserted chipboard inside so I am able to hold many supplies. Got my idea from a fellow angel paper jewels website. She has a great site and wonderful projects.

Hopefully soon I will post the frame we made. I had a sample, BUT we had a little accident with one of the frames. So my sample went to Jennifer C. As soon as I get it together and make another one i will post it.

Scrapbook page swap & project

On Saturday I had my friends come from Round Rock for the day and we had a scrapbook double page swap. We all had to make 21 double page swaps, any theme. We actually do a page swap twice a year when we go for a weekend scrapbook retreat and we were all up for another swap in the spring. It is so great to get pages(all different) already for pictures. Makes scrap booking so much easier.

Since they were driving up for the day, I decided to make some projects.
Project 1: frame
Project 2: CD photo Cube

I will post pictures soon and a few pictures of page swaps.

Teacher Appreciation Week

It's teacher appreciation week. Don't we just love our teachers? They have such a hard job.

A list of questions is given out to each teacher in the school to fill out. It just lets us know what they like; read, hobbies, drinks, food, movies, flowers, color etc. So from that I like to give my child(s) teacher a gift each day. I try to make themes.

Todays gift is chips, salsa & her favorite drink, we also put a plate, bowl and cup so she can have her snack.
The tag reads: Just what the "DR." ordered, something to "SPICE" up your day.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week is Teacher Appreciation week. The homeroom
parents were asked to make a poster for their teacher.
This is what we made. Here's what the poster reads:

You're the best teacher in the whole "MILKY WAY". Thanks
for always going the "EXTRA" mile; and helping me "SKOR" well.
You deserve to be paid "100 GRAND". Your teaching is always
right on "TARGET". Thanks for always being "MOUNDS" of fun
and making us "SNICKERS".

MFES Fundraiser

I donated a scrapbooking basket for our fundraiser for the Marble Falls Elementary School Bunko Blitz. The community/businesses donated items and we had a silent auction and played Bunko. What a fun night.
