MFES Fundraiser

I donated a scrapbooking basket for our fundraiser for the Marble Falls Elementary School Bunko Blitz. The community/businesses donated items and we had a silent auction and played Bunko. What a fun night.

These are the gifts I made for our TAC team mtg. on Sat. I found recipes for stamp cleaner and dove blender refill. Very inexpensive to make. Stamp cleaner was about $1.75 includes spray bottle for 8 team members and the dove blender was about $1.61 includes bottle also for 8.

Swap of Goodies

I joined a goodie swap with some ladies on http://rockinrena.typepad.com/my_weblog/ and I was chosen to be the "Queen of Rock" for Feb. 2009. These are some pictures of what I received in the mail. It's so much fun to go to the mail box and see a package. If you aren't familiar with Rena she opened up a scrapbook Retreat in Temple. Let me tell you it is wonderful. Click on her name and it will link you to her Scrapbook Retreat site.

Stamp Class

The paper used here is also the double sided paper I found at Tuesday Morning. This box measures out to be 11X11.25. The pieces that were cut off are the handle. This was for another stamping group of ladies. They also made 3 cards. The stamps I used are: Hoppy Everything, Just Dream and SWAK. I used my Big Shot and did some dry embossing for the background of one card. Used TAC scalloped punch and circle punch for the frog card. I used our Prismacolor watercolor pencils to color the frog and bunny with the dove blender. The angel I used our Tombow markers and just used them to outline. The scraps that were left over from the previous 3X3 project box were used on these cards. So I wasted nothing.

Stamp Class

This is a project I made for a group of ladies that get together once a month to stamp and make cards. It is a 3X3 box with (3) 3X3 cards and envies. The paper is not TAC. I found 12X12 double sided paper(25 sheets) at Tuesday Morning for $1.99 and I couldn't pass up a great deal. So I went crazy. I did use TAC stamps. Spring Dream and Tag Tidbits. The ladies really enjoy the box and cards.
